GAME CONCEPT: STRENGTH

0 Strength: An invalid, wheelchair bound or very infirm / elderly

  • You may not inflict damage with a melee or thrown weapon, and suffer a -1 penalty with ranged weapons due to your weak grip.
  • You cannot learn or use Martial skills, and cannot assist in carrying a Heavy object (including unconscious people). You may generally still use Martial skills embodied in objects, assuming the skin chosen is appropriate (e.g. spring-heeled boots of jumping would still be usable).
  • You take an additional +1 damage from any Biological source due to your weak constitution.

1 Strength: A person of sedentary lifestyle

  • You inflict -1 damage (minimum 1) with one-handed melee weapons and thrown weapons.
  • You can carry a Heavy object with the assistance of one other person.

2 Strength: A standard healthy human being. Children of Lamarck and Automatons also begin with 2 Strength.

  • You inflict normal damage with weapons and can carry a Heavy object with the assistance of one other person.

3 Strength: A fitter than average human; someone who works out regularly. Ice Vikings begin with 3 Strength.

  • You can lift a Heavy object without the assistance of a second person.
  • If you use a two-handed melee weapon, you inflict an additional +1 damage with it.

4 Strength: An Olympic level athlete - you look like Hercules. Troglodytes begin with 4 Strength.

  • You can lift a Heavy object without the assistance of a second person.
  • You inflict +1 damage with any melee weapon.
  • You inflict +1 damage with thrown weapons at ranges up to 20', or open hand combat.

5+ Strength: Incredible Hulk's big brother

  • You inflict +2 damage with any melee weapon.
  • You inflict +1 damage with thrown weapons at up to 30', or open hand combat.
  • You can lift two Heavy objects at once without assistance.
